Verity May Lane is an Award-Winning Costume Designer and Artist. Born and raised in Manchester, UK, and currently living in London & LA, Verity began working in Costume aged 19. She learnt on the job shadowing legendary designers and working closely with visionary directors, quickly establishing herself as a successful Costume Designer and Art Director in the world of Music Videos, Commercials, Film and TV.

 

Verity has received Gold British Arrows for Costume Design & Directing, Gold Webby for her Art Direction, Gold & Silver CICLOPE Awards for her Costume Design and Directing and a Shots Creative award for Best Costume Design, as well as designing Costumes for BAFTA winning TV Series 'Mood' and a number of Grammy, VMA, MTV, Clio and D&AD winning Videos working with artists such as Dua Lipa, Stormzy, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue, Sampha, Jorja Smith, Coldplay and Harry Styles.

 

Verity has worked for Film4, BBC and Curzon films and has designed Commercially for some of the largest brands in the world such as Nike, Adidas, H&M, Louis Vuitton, Converse, Apple, Shangri-La Hotels, G-Star, Tate, Greenpeace, Playstation and many more.

 

In 2023, as a Director, Verity received multiple awards, Vimeo Staff Pick and international recognition for her collaborative work on the multi award-winning Channel 4 rebrand, writing and directing her own Ident produced by Love Song Films.
